Body of Christ Food Pantry
NorthPointe is partnering with 2 sister churches to run

The Body of Christ Food Pantry

We need YOUR help to make this a success!

The Body of Christ Food Pantry provides 3 meals a day for 3 days to those in need of emergency food assistance. People are referred to the food pantry by First Link Network (2-1-1). Many are being faced with such a stressful situation for the first time. We strive to make their time at the pantry stress free and positive. We don’t want anyone to walk away feeling ashamed or uncomfortable.

When: Every Thursday from 2:30pm - 3:30pm. You can work as frequently or infrequently as you would like to. I just need to have 2 people every Thursday.

Where: 4481 E. Dublin-Granville Rd
  1. From I-270 exit at SR 161 East (on the N-E side of the city) exit 30B.
  2. Follow 161 East to Little Turtle Way. (second exit)
  3. Exit at Little Turtle Way.
  4. Go straight through the light at the top of the exit ramp.
  5. Christ Fellowship Church is .25 mile past the light on the right.
  6. Turn into church parking lot & look for the little white house on the cul-de-sac in front of the church on the right. That is the food pantry.
  7. Pull into the gravel driveway and park in front of the garage.
What can I do: You can do what you can/want to do!
  1. Check ID's as people come in and sign them in.
  2. Answer questions as they come up.
  3. Sometimes someone comes in who can't read so we go through their shopping list with them.
  4. Stock shelves as needed.
  5. Carry out groceries as needed.
  6. If you have a truck - we sometimes need a volunteer to go with us to the Community Food Bank to bring back an order. If you would like to do this please let me know.
I (Jody) will always be there so you won't ever have to worry about making big decisions or answering questions you don't know the answer to. I can also provide transportation if that is an issue for you.

It really is so simple and people appreciate it sooooo much. I have found my time spent there to be very rewarding. We enjoy surprising people with more than they expect. This is a great opportunity to show God’s love in a time of need. I hope that you can find time in your schedule to help out occasionally.
